Herbert’s story began even before it was founded.

Omri Paecht, the founder of Herbert, had a special relationship with his grandfather, who worked as an interior designer in the well-known furniture stores of his time, and it was him who embedded in Omri the passion for design.

In 2008, Omri opened a carpentry workshop, where he combined his passion for design and his great love for material and creation and sold furniture that he designed and built with his own hands. In 2010, he opened a design gallery that combines his works with unique European design brands.

The deep bond with his grandfather and his strong attachment to the design world brought Omri to the decision to name the gallery after his grandfather, Herbert. Herbert was first established in the Noga complex in Jaffa, and after 6 years of activity, the new showroom, designed by Pitsou Kedem Architects, Sigal Baranovich and Irena Goldberg, was launched in its new location in Herzliya Pituach.

The guiding line according to which Herbert operates under Paecht’s management, is to be a place that responds to people looking for unique items that combine quality with attentive design. Indeed, Herbert operates according to this vision, and represents exclusively in Israel, carefully selected international brands, which bring with them added value, and meet high standards of quality, design, and uniqueness. Among Herbert’s design items: fireplaces, outdoor furniture, sophisticated shading solutions, libraries, outdoor and interior kitchens and elegant elements made of stone, and more. Each brand seemingly belongs to a different realm and world of design, but they all rest on the same foundation that aligns with Herbert’s core principles.

Even today, the search for items does not stop, along with the desire to innovate, renew and provide a solution to people who are looking for that special item that will differentiate them from others.
